Kristin Wright brings over 14 years of humanitarian experience and most recently served as Director of Field Operations for the U.S. & Canada Disaster Risk Reduction and Response team at Habitat for Humanity International. While there, she led a multi-million-dollar humanitarian aid and climate adaptation program supporting over 1,100 communities. She executed over 60 unique humanitarian projects overseeing business processes, deployment of personnel and assets, logistics, travel, technical assistance, and grants. Kristin served on the Board of Directors of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) and is an AmeriCorps VISTA alum. She started her career in Guatemala supporting the rights of women and their children at New Horizons Association. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Speech Communications and Theater from the University of Georgia and Executive Meta-Leadership Certificate from the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative (NPLI) at Harvard University.
